Foxhunting in New York

Last year during my H-A in NY, I met a guy who foxhunts with the Genessee Valley Hunt about 30 minutes south of Rochester. He had been trying to get me to come hunt with them, but the timing just never worked out. Finally, I called my bank and used some bank points to fly out there from July 12-14 The weekend was crazy, and the hunt was SO much fun. The horse I was riding, Foster, is actually for sale, and if anyone is looking for a seasoned foxhunter he is your guy!



I flew in Friday, the hunt was on Saturday morning, and Saturday night I got to help drive a horse & carriage for a wedding ceremony through downtown Rochester! Really a random weekend. I loved it!
